Earth-Inspired Color Palettes

“Grounding colors” ie Dirt.  Consider palettes of clay, sand, olive, and even soft terracotta. Warm and natural for materials, colors, and fabric.

Imperfectly Perfect Styling

In 2026, it’s all about homes that feel authentic and lived in even for staging. A step beyond organic modern, arrangements are not as stuffy and formal as in the past with fewer pairs everywhere. This will be a soft shift in staging, maybe by remixing pillows or adding mis-matched chairs to a space since the symmetry is so important in creating compelling photos.

Textural Storytelling

Chunky fabrics like velvet, boucle paired with raw wood, unfinished ceramics, metals. Not just how a room looks, but how it makes the buyer feel.

Midimalism

Not maximalism, not minimalism, but right there in the Goldilocks middle. The goal is a clutter-free home while still decorating with patterns and colors, showing personality without overwhelming the senses.
